Anniversary Trip 2015

For our 10 year wedding anniversary we decided to go on a bareboat sailing trip in the British Virgin Islands. (Bareboat means we are the captain and crew.)  Thre boat company assigned someone to sail with us on the first day to do a skill check off since we were new customers.

Having his input and advise turned out to be extremely helpful since we were not familiar with the area and that this was our first voyage at sea since last year.

We had absolutely no problems!!!  Wish I could say the same about our lake sailing..ha ha.

This is our 35 foot boat.  NEMO....great name!

At the end of the day we did some unwinding at Willy T's which is a floating bar at Norman Island.  I and the lady next to me got a Willy T tatoo....boy was that daring...ha ha.  It washed off after a couple of days.

Captian Cayle....he had sooooo much fun!  We saw a dolphin swimming next to our boat on day two.

I even did some driving (sailing) from time to time.  I would much rather be in charge of the rigging.

We found a beautiful spot to relax at Virgin Gorda...

This is on the Atlantic Ocean side of Virgin Gorda....very rocky and rough seas.

There was always land in sight throughout our sailing.

On day 6 we sailed in some 7 to 10 foot waves.  Pretty cool!

Reagan and Myles

We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to babysit Reagan (2 yrs old) and Myles who just turned one March 12th.

I copied this from Facebook (Melissa's post).  Brett and Melissa said she smiles a lot.  So far she is usually sleeping when I see her.  I got to hold her a couple of different days last week.....wonderful moments.

Special Anniversary

Braylon began his life with Brett and Melissa one year ago on March 30, 2015.  I went to Holton March 25th to get him so he could spend a few days with us before he started school in Hays, KS.

I am so very proud of my son for stepping up and inviting Braylon into his life.  He is a great parent and guardian who is Braylon's hero!  Melissa has generously changed her life plans to be there for Braylon and Brett.  I am so impressed with her wisdom, support and guidance she give my two special boys.

Braylon is a happy and considerate young man who is thriving wonderfully.  I know his Momma is watching over him from heaven and is smiling.

Thank you God for all your blessings and protecting this special boy.  

Spring Break Fun

Braylon, Bethany, Brittany and I went to Bishop's Castle in Rye Colorado, which is about an hour from Pueblo.  It is amazing how it has progressed over the years.   Everyone needs to go and see this castle, very amazing!  I enjoyed having them join me in Pueblo for a few days.
