Very important step!

I made a cup of coffee this morning with my Keurig.  FYI it is very important to have your coffee cup in place. I heard it brewing in came to add cream in my coffee…where is my cup???

Fortunately for me they are prepared for this dilemma. The spillover tray holds a full cup!  Guess they are prepared for me!  Ha ha

In Pueblo

I am in Pueblo this weekend...love it here.  There was a beautiful sunset to watch off of our deck last night.  Cayle had some flying to do at home and he also went up to help in western Nebraska.  Hopefully he will be able to take a break and come join me for a couple of days.

Dana Parino

I attended Dana Parino's book signing in Pueblo this evening.  The place was packed.  I went 1 1/2 hours early so I was one of the first to meet her.  I have never done this before...sure was fun.

Rain and millers!

We have had an epidemic of millers the last few days.  We put bowls so soapy water in the garage last night ...yuk yuk yuk

We had a rain and hail storm a little while ago.  The tornado siren blew for about 10 minutes so I moved things around in the basement๐Ÿ˜‹

The water from the rain came up to the tree in our front yard.  We drove out to the White Women creek which is starting to fill and running again.  I bet it will be even more in an hour from now.

Another good day to spray!

Cayle being Cayle.

We had a total of three pilots yesterday.  Today 2 pilots...hopefully things will begin to wind down soon.

Our life now!

We have been busy spraying rust in the wheat fields.  It has rained just enough for the farmers to invest in spraying it and wet enough they can't get in the fields with their ground rigs.  Either we are going full blast or waiting for the wind to die down.

Cayle has had a couple of pilots here helping him out.  This afternoon there are 3 planes working out of here, Cayle and two others.

Will have you know I discovered I did not retire......I just changed positions.  My new title is Pit Crew!  I hook up the chemical loading hose, fuel the planes, wash windshield, make maps, work orders, invoicing, take phone call, tell farmers we will be there soon, blahblahblah.๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ผ๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜€.

Oh yea,  shop and cook for some hungry boys!  We are going to the restaurant tonight!!!   I'm tired.
Sure is fun though๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š

Braylon's band concert

Braylon had a band concert that Monday evening so I was able to stay and be there for that.  He plays the baritone and I must add he does very well with it.  Melissa had a nasty cold so she stayed home with Ilsa.

More Birthday

Ted and Shelley had us over for a birthday supper.  Braylon sure enjoys spending his Sunday's with them.  Shelly has some pictures on her blog also.

Braylon is 11 years old!

I was able to go to Wichita and help celebrate Braylon's 11 Birthday May 2nd.  His friend Carter was there also and they had a fun sleep over.  Sure fun to watch and listen to kids play.
